Thanks to the insulating GORE-TEX Koala membrane, the Tempo Artica GTX is absolutely waterproof. That means you can count on proven performance guaranteed to keep your feet dry when it really matters. But the advanced GORE-TEX technology not only reliably keeps out the elements, but also ensures improved breathability.
Security for the feet, great fit
The Artica GTX has two components that ensure the best possible fit - particularly important for effective power transmission on the road bike. The upper Velcro wraps around the ankle for a locked-in fit, while the lower portion of the shoe features a single L6 BOA® dial for infinite adjustment.

Fleece against the cold
The Artica GTX features a brushed fleece lining to protect your toes from the cold and keep your feet warm. This has two advantages: a soft layer that provides additional comfort on your feet, and extra warmth for rides in the three-digit kilometer range, even in single-digit temperatures.

The newly designed R5 nylon outsole offers comfort and moderate stiffness for efficient pedaling. In addition, the position of the cleats is set slightly further back compared to traditional shoes to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce pressure on the knees. In this winter-specific version, the outsole has no ventilation holes to keep feet warm and dry.
