The sleek upper is made from a stretchy polyurethane laminated material combined with a comfortable mesh material. This reduces pressure points and supports the foot for a long time where it is particularly important. The fit can be easily and individually adjusted thanks to a single bi-directional Li2 BOA® dial.
The R2 outsole is made of carbon fibers, which saves weight and increases stiffness. With a stiffness index of 10, this outsole is the most responsive in the entire Fizik range. A wide ventilation slit and deep internal air channels ensure optimal airflow and help with temperature regulation. The positioning of the cleats is set back slightly compared to traditional soles to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce pressure on the knees - particularly well-suited for very aggressive, forward-facing aero positions.
