To meet these demands, Assos has chosen a unique blend of cotton-wrapped elastomer that creates a light compressive support and slightly insulating effect for the foot, ankle and lower leg through a seamless design. This blend creates a knit that effectively insulates, wicks moisture through the yarn to the outer surface, and keeps your feet dry and comfortable in your shoes. Assos has developed a ribbed band especially for the arch of the foot, which encloses it and thus offers even more support and increased breathability. Contrasting reflective tape along the Achilles tendon provides better visibility in low light conditions. The blue climaCode for winter is now a striking visual cue to wear layers and also helps with wardrobe organisation.
