The front vents provide the rider with a secure way to stow their goggles. Unobtainium® temples keep goggles in place, and cut-outs in the foam on the inside of the helmet prevent the temples from damaging the wearer's head in the event of an impact. This creates a simple and intuitive storage space for the driver's glasses.
The ARO5 Race sports a trademark Iridium® coating that mirrors the Prizm™ lens colors of Oakley eyewear. The color of the decal matches the color of the helmet, in keeping with Oakley's legacy of eyewear.
Protection
The MIPS® Air protection system is a helmet-integrated, low-friction protective layer that reduces rotational movements of the head: it protects against the dangerous forces that could otherwise act on the rider's head.
