In-Mold Construction
The outer shell made of polycarbonate is glued to the EPS inner shell. This increases the resistance of the helmet. Ventilation openings can also be formed more easily, which means that in-mold constructions usually have better ventilation systems and a lower weight.
MIPS
MIPS stands for “Multi Directional Impact Protection System” and refers to a movable protective layer that consists of three components: EPS liner and low-friction liner, which are connected by an elastomeric fastening system. This layer protects the brain from an oblique impact. The principle of the brain's natural low-friction layer is adapted to minimize the forces that occur.
Roc Loc Sport
The helmet size is adjusted using a rubberized dial. In addition, three different heights of the adjustment system can be selected. Soft padding increases comfort and improves the fit.
