The Ergolace system encloses the foot and ensures a secure fit with an ergonomic lacing. The upper provides protection from the elements: its durable ripstop fabric resists tears and abrasions. A PU laminated toe cap and side reinforcements provide additional protection and durability. The X2 outsole plays its part in the versatility of the shoe: it was developed to offer an optimal balance between pedaling efficiency and flexibility for comfort and control on and off the bike, so that the rider is well equipped even during carrying passages. The compressed EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning, while the Vibram rubber tread provides grip and traction no matter the conditions underfoot. The directional lug pattern was developed for a secure grip on clipless pedals and, thanks to the spacing and tread depth, offers optimal grip even on muddy ground.
