In order to develop mid-warmth socks that combine comfort, support and high visibility, we had to experiment with yarns that met these requirements. The result of our testing in mild spring and fall conditions was an ultra-soft polyester yarn combined with Lycra that creates light compression support and a degree of insulation for the foot, ankle and lower leg through our seamless design.

We have developed a ribbed band especially for the arch of the foot, which encloses it and thus offers even more support and increased breathability. Contrasting reflective tape along the Achilles tendon provides better visibility in low light conditions. The climaCode for spring and fall is now a prominent visual cue on how to layer and also helps with wardrobe organisation.
