The Gringo is the most versatile helmet in the URGE range. The modular chin bar allows descents with or without a chin guard - just as you like. No matter how it is driven, the Gringo is always compatible with glasses. Many ventilation slots also ensure optimal air circulation. As usual with all URGE helmets, the Gringo also has extremely comfortable pads for long rides. It also offers the best protection and greatest possible security when it really matters. A true all-mountain helmet, the Gringo is available in two versions: de la Sierra and de la Pampa, which differ in that they have a mesh integrated into the chin guard, making them optimized for different riding habits. Both versions of the Gringo come with a removable chin guard.
The Gringo de la Pampa is designed for most use with a chin guard, which is why the aerodynamics have been optimized accordingly.
The Gringo de la Sierra is ridden more 'open-face' and the chin guard including mesh is then attached for additional safety before a technically demanding descent.
